As we begin the next chapter for Andersonburg Place, the property has been listed for sale. In the meantime, we will continue to operate as a short-term rental and event venue and are currently accepting future bookings.
We understand that making plans for a getaway, celebration, retreat, or special event requires confidence in your reservation. Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible for our guests.
Should the property sell and a future reservation be affected, we will provide as much advance notice as possible, with a minimum of 60 days’ notice and a FULL REFUND.
Until then, we look forward to continuing to welcome guests and sharing this very special property with you.

Originally built as The Sherman’s Valley Institute aka The Andersonburg Academy (1863-1864-1865.) Post Civil War, it became THE ANDERSONBURG SOLDIERS ORPHAN SCHOOL, which served as a home and school for orphaned children from 1866-1878.
The Andersonburg Place has been meticulously and lovingly restored to combine its beautiful and historic 1800s-era charm with all the modern comforts of today.
